Sadly, many bloggers have dropped blogging for other things because they are repeatedly denied Adsense approval by Google for a variety of reasons.
While these people are unfortunate to find themselves in such situation, some bloggers are earning a small fortune from Adsense. If you are a blogger with Adsense approval issue, how can you turn the situation around and be approved by Adsense? These practical tips will help you to achieve that:
Check your age
According to the Terms and Conditions of Google, you must be 18 years old or older to qualify for Adsense. If you are below that age and meet all other conditions, Google will never approve your application for Adsense. Ask yourself if you meet this condition before applying for Adsense.
Post quality content
Before determining your approval, Google has a way of checking your blog content. They will go through your content with a view to determining the quality of your posts. That is not possible without good contents. So, Google doesn’t joke with the issue of contents that are well-researched, well-written, and without grammatical and/or typo errors. Why don’t you assess the contents of your blog and see whether you need to make some necessary changes that will increase your chances of getting approved by Google Adsense?
Still on the content of your blog, apart from the good-quality content, Google stipulates that your content should be unique. This implies that your articles must be original, written by you without copying from others as Google takes a strong stand against plagiarism. Some bloggers are very lazy and are only diligent at copying other people’s articles. If you have such a negative attitude, don’t expect anything from Google. Apart from denying you Adsense approval, Google may ban you as a penalty for plagiarism.

Congratulations! Your Google Adsense application has finally been submitted. But before your account is approved, there are things that you need to do to make the whole process smoother. Below are a few of the steps to take in order to ensure that you do not run into the kind of hitches that other people have experienced in the past. A lot of applications get rejected every week due to some minor things that are either not known or neglected from the outset. So, here are the things you need to do to fast track your Google Adsense account approval:
Let your template be responsive
With the use of different devices for accessing the net and by extension your blog, you must meet this requirement if Google will consider your application. This implies that those viewing your blog from a PC shouldn’t find it difficult to read while those using mobile devices shouldn’t complain too. As a precaution, use a responsive template that is already designed with responsiveness as a focal point. Also, check that all the icons on the blog are working perfectly without hitches. The same can be said about the links, there shouldn’t be any error when checking them. A good and responsive template will increase your chances of getting approved.
Domain must be 45 days old
Your custom domain must be at least 45 days old. This is another order from Google. You should resist the temptation of presenting a new blog for approval because you are inviting your application denial.
Minimum of 15 posts
Google does not approve an empty blog or a blog with insufficient posts. If you really want to get your approval, your blog must have a minimum of 15 unique and good-quality posts. It is advisable to check your blog for the number of posts you have on it before sending your application to Google. It is tantamount to a waste of your precious time if you present a blog with insufficient posts for approval. For the umpteenth time, make quality your watchword. Don’t just spam your blog with 15 “copy & paste” posts and head straight to Google for Adsense approval. No way, it doesn’t work that way.
Have About Us and Contact Us Pages
You can’t get approved by Google without these two pages. The former should contain enough information about you or your blog. The information you put in that section must be relevant and accurate. Don’t cook up some information for Google; they have a way of detecting such fraud. In addition, let your Contact Us page be detailed and informative enough.
You should include all the avenues through which people can contact you. That may include your mobile phone number, email address, Facebook account page, your Twitter handle, Skype ID, and the rest. Just ensure that you can easily be contacted if need be. Always check these sections whether they are well-written and working well before you send your application letter to Google.
There are some unique contents for these two forms. If and only if you keep those contents in these forms, Adsense approval gets Easy.” Her experience in getting Adsense approval and her unprecedented record make her an authority on Adsense approval. You can’t ignore her advice here. Therefore, it is very crucial to your success if you include these on your blog.
Have sufficient content
If your posts are made of only videos and images without sufficient write-ups, you stand the risk of not getting approval for your Adsense. Some people recommend writing posts that are over a thousand words for your blog while some believe the real word count should be below that. However, you have a better chance at getting approval with 1000-word articles than 250-word articles. While you have the prerogative of determining the ideal word length, don’t let it be too short or too long. Write meaningful posts with the right word count that your readers won’t find boring and unnecessarily voluminous.
Use the right language
Google does not make Adsense Program available for all languages. For instance, there is no such program in Telugu, Gujarati, Irish, Bengali, and Latin. If your blog is in these languages, you cannot be approved by Google. The most recommended blogging language is English. If you blog in any other language apart from English, you are reducing your chances at getting approved.
Your source of traffic also plays a big role in your Adsense application and approval. If your blog receives traffic from genuine sources such as social media, Search Engines, and feed subscribers, you have a better chance of getting approved than using bulk SMS for generating traffic or asking your relatives and friends to visit your blog regularly. Google will spot the fraud and penalize you for that.
Aside from preventing you from being approved for Adsense, you may be banned from applying for life. Does it really worth it? So, work hard at getting your traffic from reliable sources that will increase your chances of getting approval from Google.
Make use of the Blogger Platform
This is one trick the gurus also use in order to get Adsense approval faster. We all know that Blogger belongs to Google and so Google gives top priority to those bloggers on the platform when it comes to approving Adsense accounts. If you are on Blogger and another person is on WordPress but both of you have the same quality of content, Google would consider your blog first before the guy on WordPress.
So, the trick you can use here is to start a blog on the Blogger platform. If you wish to continue using the platform after approval, there is no problem with that. But if you are thinking of moving away after approval, you need to get a custom domain name for the blog and start using the blog on the Blogger platform in the meantime. Here’s a post on how to host your custom domain on Blogger.
